O.M.G....Oh My God

So I can not believe we the USA finally have a black president. It still has not sunk in yet but I'm soooo freakin excited I could scream!!! I was truly worried that I might not ever see this day in my lifetime.  I am so proud to be an American right now, finally.

Artistic Heaven

I wish I had a space. 

A big open space.

 With concrete floors,

where it didn't matter if /when I spill.

Where I could paint.

 in the dark

 with one hand. 

 I could paint a wall...

or something very small.

I could thrash and dash and lunge and hurl.

There would be a table

that would be long and wide.

It would have a darkroom

and a place to weld.

It would have parts to build

and all the tools.

I would have a lighting kit.

and cabinets... lots and lots of cabinets.

and SPACE....

it would have loads of space.

Watching Paint Dry

so I totally just spent an hour wasting time by setting up this blog instead of painting like I was suppose to be doing. I am literally watching my paint dry.
